You can manage your Magazine.io subscription from your account dashboard.
Your subscription controls your active plan, publication limit, and access to publisher features such as uploading and managing publications.
Where to view your subscription
To view your subscription details:
- Log in to your Magazine.io account.
- Go to My Account.
- Open My Membership.
From there, you can see information about your current plan.
What you can see in My Membership
The My Membership section may show details such as:
- Your current plan
- Membership status
- Expiration date
- Published publications
- Remaining publication slots
This helps you understand whether your account is active and how many more publications you can publish under your current plan.
Subscription renewal
Magazine.io subscriptions do not renew automatically.
This means your plan will not automatically charge your card when it reaches the expiration date.
Before your membership expires, we will send an email reminder so you have time to renew your plan.
Renewal reminders are usually sent around:
- 1–2 weeks before your expiration date
To avoid losing publishing access, renew your subscription before the expiration date shown in My Membership.
What happens when you renew
When you renew your subscription, your plan remains active and you can continue using your publisher account.
You can continue to:
- Keep your publications online
- Upload new publications if you have available slots
- Edit existing publications
- View publication analytics
- Manage your account
What happens if your subscription expires?
If your subscription expires, your publisher access may become limited.
You may no longer be able to:
- Upload new publications
- Keep publications active
- Access some publisher features
- Use your publication limit
Your public publications may also be affected if your account is no longer active.
To restore access, you will need to renew your plan.
Publication limits and your subscription
Each plan includes a maximum number of active publications.
You can check your current usage from:
- My Account → My Membership
For example, if your plan allows 20 active publications and you are using 6, you can publish 14 more publications on your current plan.
If you reach your limit, you can delete or unpublish an existing publication, or choose a higher plan.
Changing your plan
If you need more active publication slots, you can move to a higher plan.
A higher plan is useful if:
- You publish more often
- You manage multiple publications
- You want to keep more issues online
- You are close to your current publication limit
To compare available plans, visit the Pricing page.
Summary
You can manage your subscription from My Account → My Membership. Magazine.io does not use automatic renewal, so your plan will not renew by itself. We will send an email reminder 1–2 weeks before your expiration date so you can renew your subscription and keep your publishing access active.
